Cookies for Charity

I am a 12-year old girl with a goal of making a difference in someone else's life, and I'm asking for your assistance.

Since I was 5 years old, I've held annual lemonade/cookie stands to raise money forEquestrian Connection, www.equestrianconnection.org, a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding barn for children and adults.

My younger sister, Danielle, has special needs and has been riding at EC since she was two years old.  This therapy has literally changed her life!  Before she started riding, she could barely speak or sit up straight.  With the horse's help, Danielle finally learned to walk and talk at 4 years old.

When I found out that other children needed this therapy but couldn't afford it, I made a promise to myself to do what I could to help others.  So, for the last few years, I've raised enough money to sponsor someone for this incredible therapy, every week for the full year.  This past year, I raised $10,001.76.  This large sum enabled me to sponsor the same girl as well as partially cover a horse's expenses, and sponsor a child for the Equestrian Conection's week-long winter camp.   My goal this year is to raise $10,800: in order to cover three children's therapy.

The following companies sponsored me for the 2012 Cookies for Charity lemonade stand: the Chicago Bears,ConAgra Mills,  Guittard Chocolate Company, Moccio's Pizza (a Bobby V. Restaurant), Morton Salt,  Pappas Company, PepsiCo, RothArt Productions, Solo Cup, Smucker's, Sunset Foods and The Spice House.  A few have already committed for the 2013 Cookies for Charity!

In 7 years, I've raised $24,000!  I might have big hopes, but I'm also very determined!  

Please help me change someone's life by donating whatever dollar amount possible.  It's greatly appreciated!
